Wishing you the best for 2009! Now on to some business... 2009's schedule is looking good so far with 5 LAN's planned, hopefully some with DLC-Lan. The following periods are being investigated:

• January 31st to February 1st 2009: At this stage, a GreenTubeLAN only event at Hampton Park. DLC-Lan have shown no interest thus far to trial another combined LAN.
• April 4th to 5th 2009: Easter LAN (straight after School Holidays start)
• June 27th to 28th 2009: Birthday LAN (As always, there will be cake and some prizes!). Straight after School Holidays - and pretty much destined to be a GreenTubeLAN only event.
• September 19th to 20th 2009: Pending no massive influxes of 21st birthdays and weddings (I trust most of us are over that now?) - there will be potentially a combined LAN to keep numbers up! Straight after School Holidays.
• December 5th to 6th 2009: The regular Christmas LAN!!!

Although we are planning to have some GreenTubeLAN only LAN's, these by no means states "no DLC players". This just means that GreenTubeLAN will take full control of the event - with competitions, prizes etc...

Also another big note, GreenTubeLAN fees have increased as Scout Halls are no longer free/cheap. With most Halls costing $150 + Bond, let alone food and our 20-25 regulars, we have had to increase the price to $20 to ensure we cover food costs, prizes, hall hiring and any potential damage. This is still $5.00 less than most other LAN's, and we will still offer food. This price is most likely to stay in effect for 2009.
